Super rare Blue wavellite on variscite, all on a matrix of chert, from Garland County, Arkansas, Delinde Claim. Beautiful Eye forms on this one. Mined by Henry Delinde in the 1960s. Super Rare material. Handwritten locale info by Delinde himself, dated, 5-13-67, likely pit A-3, and ,SP, maybe South side of Pit??? A Cool historical piece, as Delinde has a specimen of his wavellite findings in the Smithsonian now. R.i.p. to an Arkansas mining legend.
