Amazing and Unique Rectorite aka "Mountain leather" (as the old timers called it) filled with micro solution quartz crystal points , from the long-closed Jeffrey Quarry, in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

Rare Solution Quartz Crystal micro Floater Clusters/Points in this host clay- mineral called Rectorite. Solution Quartz from this quarry is rarely seen with the original rectorite. You also have the option of dissolving it with oxalic acid on a fine mesh screen, which would reveal clear micro sized solution quartz. Mined in the 1980s at the Jeffrey Quarry (a long closed locale) in Pulaski County, North Little Rock, Arkansas, USA.

The quartz is very unique and fine. This is for the set of 3 shown in the photographs above.
