Strengite Lot, Indian Mountain, Alabama, Ex Marcin And Delinde (1977 Old Stock)

Here is a lot of Strengite and some other phosphate minerals that were in a small box in the collection of Henry Delinde. They look to have originally come from the Marcin collection back in 1977 (see postmarked label photograph).

   This lot includes several specimens of purple strengite that are paired with other iron phosphates from the Indian Mountain locale in Alabama. As a bonus, the lot includes a few rougher pieces of unknowns (likely phosphates) that were included in the original box of Delinde/Marcin.  There is also what looks to be a unique example of wavellite from Tennessee. This lot comes with all of the original labels and even a handwritten note that we think is from Marcin (for Delinde) from 1977.
